Autonomous audio.

AI-driven compliance. Zero breaches. Zero intervention.

The noise problem no one has solved

Venues face a constant tension: music loud enough to create atmosphere, quiet enough to avoid fines. Current solutions force a choice between compliance and experience.

Power cut-off limiters kill the music mid-set, damage equipment, and frustrate performers. SPL monitors tell you when you've already exceeded the limit. Staff adjust levels based on guesswork, and turnover means retraining every few months.

The result: noise complaints, fines, license threats, and no data to diagnose what went wrong.

How AEGIS works

01

Monitor

Computer vision counts occupancy in real-time. Calibrated microphones measure SPL across the frequency spectrum. The system knows exactly what is happening in your venue, continuously.

02

Analyze

AI correlates occupancy, ambient noise, time of day, and historical patterns. It predicts when levels will approach limits — before they reach them.

03

Adapt

AEGIS adjusts your audio system natively — through Q-SYS, Powersoft, or OSC protocols. Volume, EQ, and limiting are modified transparently, preserving audio quality while maintaining compliance.

04

Protect

Hard limits guarantee dB ceilings are never breached. Spectral processing reduces volume intelligently — no power cuts, no distortion, no damaged equipment.

05

Report

Automatic compliance documentation. Continuous logging, historical analysis, and reports ready for authorities. Proof that your venue was compliant, every night, without manual effort.

In practice

Built for professional audio

A platform designed around existing professional audio infrastructure.

The edge node runs on a Mac Mini M2 with a Tauri desktop app. The Rust core handles audio capture, real-time analysis, protocol communication with Q-SYS and Powersoft hardware, and the decision engine loop.

A Python ML sidecar provides computer vision via YOLOv8 for people counting. The system can operate fully offline, with optional cloud sync through Supabase for multi-venue management.

Capabilities

Designed around real venue operations and professional audio requirements.

Occupancy-aware adjustment

Computer vision counts people. Audio adjusts to match crowd density.

Spectral limiting

Frequency-aware processing preserves clarity while reducing level. Not a power cut — transparent limiting.

Multi-jurisdiction compliance

Pre-configured for Italy (DPCM 215/1999), France (Decree 2017-1244), Belgium (VLAREM II), Switzerland, Germany.

Native DSP integration

Direct control of Q-SYS and Powersoft systems. No additional hardware in the signal chain.

Predictive operation

AI learns venue patterns and pre-adjusts before limits are approached.

Multi-venue dashboard

Monitor all installations from one interface. Alerts, diagnostics, remote control.

Offline resilience

Continues operating if network drops. Syncs when reconnected.

Automatic reporting

Compliance logs generated continuously. Export-ready for authorities.

Built for EU noise regulations

AEGIS ships with pre-configured profiles for major EU jurisdictions. Compliance is automatic — the system guarantees dB limits are respected, and generates the documentation to prove it.
