Recognition and listening now work as one loop across mixed records. The beta also carries real waveform rendering, haptics, Discogs account support, and session recaps.
Work still in progress includes geo store discovery, price checks, Spotify App Remote, a deeper Taste model, BPM analysis, and sharing refinements. The site labels DISCTALE as a field beta for exactly this reason.
Native where the experience needs it
The current app is built for iOS, with Rust handling portable domain logic and evidence-heavy recognition flows. Music and collection integrations remain explicit adapters rather than hidden magic.
