LATENT

The camera becomes the look lab.

LATENT keeps recipes local, reads and restores custom slots, and renders RAF files through the physical Fujifilm pipeline so the image you judge comes from the camera itself.

Keep the library local

Browse, create, import, and export schema-validated recipes without sending the archive or RAF files to a service.

Read before writing

Import camera-side custom slots first so the original state remains available if an experiment needs to be reversed.

Render through the camera

Send a known RAF to the connected body and judge the recipe through Fujifilm’s own image processor.

Write and verify

Send verified fields to a chosen slot, read them back, and restore the previous recipe when the result is not right.

Search, compare, duplicate, edit, import, and export a schema-backed library that works without a connected camera.

Connection as a system

WebUSB transport handles reconnects, sleep, unplug events, structured failures, and common macOS PTP collisions.

Safer camera writes

Backup, explicit slot selection, verified fields, read-back, and restore are treated as first-class operations.

Reusable protocol packages

Camera protocol, WebUSB transport, connection state, and recipe schemas live in separate MIT-licensed packages.
